Visiting the North Shore every summer is special; the energy of this place brings me back to myself. It's a place to go to connect with nature. To me, crows symbolize a free spirit and are one of the most common birds I hear while hiking. This piece uses references from my last trip and is an impression of the wild spirit of the North Woods of Minnesota.
