A winter walk through William Berry woods in Minneapolis inspired this mini series. It was a stark winter day, not too cold, but gloomy and overcast. I saw various oak leaves laying perfectly on top of the snow. It occurred to me that there is a simple elegance and restfulness in the starkness. Sometimes existing in nature can bring back memories of being a kid, just playing outside and examining nature.
