The "Cats of Rhodes" series is inspired by my trip to Greece in May 2026. Imported during the middle ages to control the rat population, these lovable kitties are still around today running the city. I saw this slightly rumpled boy sitting in an ancient doorway. His attitude was regal in spite of his somewhat disheveled appearance. The turquoise color story is a nod to the color of the sea in Greece.
