I found this mushroom while hiking along the North Shore in Northern Minnesota during a summer camping trip. During this hike, I allowed myself to go slow and easy in order to take in the small details of being in the North Woods; the scent of pine as your feet crush the dried needles, the warmth of the sun, the colors, and the sounds. Going up North is a yearly ritual to connect with nature.
