"Dancing Leaf"

A winter walk through William Berry woods in Minneapolis inspired this mini series. It was a stark winter day, not too cold, but gloomy and overcast. I saw various oak leaves laying perfectly on top of the snow. It occurred to me that there is a simple elegance and restfulness in the starkness. Dancing leaf is a reference to the way leaves fall from the trees creating different patterns in the air, or how they blow around in the wind.
